 Nomination & Selection ProcessEach year, Leadership Vestavia Hills accepts nominations for candidates for its leadership program. Current class members and alumni of the program are encouraged to nominate individuals who have exhibited leadership qualities and have shown a genuine concern for enhancing the quality of life in the Vestavia Hills and the Greater Birmingham communities. In addition, Leadership Vestavia Hills invites other community organizations to nominate individuals as candidates for the program. Multiple nominations are encouraged. Please give as much information about your nominee as possible. You may want to inform the individual of the nomination. The Leadership Vestavia Hills Selection Committee will mail the nominee an application form and an informational brochure about the program. Subsequent to a review of the submitted applications, the Selection Committee members compile a list of approximately fifteen to twenty candidates to present to the Board of Directors of Leadership Vestavia Hills (Board) for approval. |
